MOHAMMED ALI has over 14 years’ experience in banking, starting from April 2010. His aptitude and dedication propelled him through various roles and departments, including Marketing, Retail Banking, and Parastatals. Mohammed is a chartered Banker, having attained an associated membership of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, and an Executive Master’s Degree in marketing both from the University
of Ghana, Legon. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Marketing at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA), alongside other certification courses from various reputable institutions. These, among others, inspired him to begin contributing to the “body of knowledge in the area
of brand management” and writing of articles for publications on various media portals.
Mohammed, at his private times, also offers professional assistance to businesses (SMEs etc) in the area of branding, business development and sales strategies as part of his passion for supporting firms to optimize their market shares and revenue. In 2019, Mohammed Ali consulted for USDA/Amplifies Ghana by offering training in Branding and Marketing for Commercial Feed Millers in Ghana. Prior to joining the banking sector and ADB in particular, Mohammed enriched his portfolio through his engagement with several Committees of the Parliament of Ghana, including the Communications Committee, and the Appointments Committee. He is a result-oriented marketing professional with extensive people management skills, and progressive minded. Mohammed Ali is a member of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA). He is a devoted family man and happily married with three (3) children
